The direction was to develop an identity that would commemorate Jamie’s sacred and special day, make something special for her family and friends, and to help build excitement for her event.
The underlying theme was the number 56, Jamie’s prized lacrosse number. It was kept abstract so that it would be interpreted more as typographic art and would be a talking point for the family if anyone asked. No detail was overlooked, from the paper specified for the invitation (Neenah's Eames Painting Canvas) to all the support components such as thank you cards, directional signage for the museum, environmental graphics and Moleskine sketchbooks and Faber-Castell sketching pencils as gifts for the kids.
