2014 marked the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Baltimore and birth of the United States National Anthem. To honor this milestone, Baltimore organized the Star-Spangled Spectacular, a bicentennial celebration commemorating the Battle of Baltimore and the birth of the “Star-Spangled Banner.”
In response to this celebration, the University of Baltimore organized an anniversary exhibition to commemorate this event. The Star-Spangled 200 exhibition took place from September 15, 2014 through October 31st, 2014.
This limited-edition, commemorative poster was printed four-color process with soy based inks, offset on New Leaf Ingenuity, 80 cover, 100% PCW. The finished size is 18 x 24 inches. A special thanks to Randy Dorman with Peabody Press and Teri Kelly with New Leaf Paper for the production collaboration. Concept, illustration and design by Greg Bennett.
